Turn 17 sent.

Seille's air force blew away many tank columns heading toward invader's beach head. I had to retreat, it felt like SS Panzers trying to reach Normandy in D day +1

Seille's bridge head is secure with tons of air force protecting.
However, they will flee soon.

I captured the contested city I wanted. I leave Arditi alone, next attack is for Seille.

Turn 18 sent to Arditi.

Seille is creating bigger problems every turn, but last turn we had the Air victory. From now on, Seille will be bombed hard.

Turn 19 sent.

Seille is creating me problems, this is a picture of my East flank at the core of my territory. This began as a little spot invasion, it have become a deadly tumor.

However, I am advancing south with a huge army

It doesnt feel like I have a bigger Empire. Here is the casualties caused by Seille.

He is setting up a very weird tactic, he divebomb all my tanks and then attack with a wave of Rifles???!! no artillery, no armor.

However he is in trouble in the south I am invading with many tanks and armor

This is the casualties when I opened my turn, and at the end of it things had not improved.

I don't understand this weird tactic, a floooood of infantry all over the map, maybe he is trying to beat me by crashing my old Pentium4.

I'd say he's on the ropes and flooding you with infantry is the last thing he can muster.

Naah, thats just the way he rolls.

Divebombers to neutralize your armor, and waves of rifle to finish you off when your readiness is down. I learend the hard way in Iron Age I.

Air superiority and machineguns are your friends, if you must defend. I prefer to be on the offensive end, attacking from 3+ hex sides at once with a BALANCED force of rifle, some kind of anti-infantry (mortars), and some light armor or armored cars.

I have plenty of armor. But it took me by surprise, every time I move, boom! armor die. It feel like German troops trying to defend normandy. And I send a lot of armor!

I am using my "suposed" production superiority to try to recover air superiority.

For the crowd:
I have 39 cities
he has 30 cities.

The thousands of vailiant dead Soviet troops that attacked wave after wave. Halted the German Mech Army. I suppose you just have to see that 10 rifle cost as much as 1 light tank, so he is still winning when he loses 9 rifle for 1 light tank.

But still not a nice feeling when you see your armour blow up in your face all the hard work.... gone!!

But I guess you are all still having fun out there.

turn sent. Sorry, I opened twice but I didn't cheat

Watch Seille's cancer tumour. He cutted off 3 armies!

I relinked them, but two are in very bad shape.

I brough in some reinforcements but I can do nothing against it. 3 small towns and 1 city was divided from the Main land.

A second Seille-tumour is developing

Here are the casualties he causes with his rifles and bombers.

However, in the southernmost front I caused horrible loses to him killing 10 planes in the land along with 120 infantry and some equipment, being this the first turn-victory ever against Seille. I am about to take a very good outpost from him.

I lost
31 rifle
3 fighters
1 armor

The good news is that in the south there is nothing he can do to stop me, I advanced forward. The bad side is that the intensity of the battle did not allow me to restore the air umbrella.

Morning Gentlemen.  Second Commune has surrendered his position!  Grymme and Daniel have fought well and forced me into a defensive situation.  Great job gents!  I concede and look forward to our next campaign.  Have fun guys!

Ahh...

I accept your surrender. It has been an honorable war with no betrayal on either side. All warprisoners will be treated well. No waterboarding or anything. Arditi might even be installed as PM in a puppet regime.

But the war continues. The survival of the Fascist regime is in no way ensured.

I prefer "Keeper of the Harem", but without the obligatory emasculation...perhaps the "Harem Stud"?

I just sent Turn 24 to Tac2.

I had the turn since 3 days ago. I made the mistake. So, finally I've made the things I was blaming to others.

My fault again.

Seille is losing ground. I am about to recover my lands and I am still at two squares from his capital.

However, I don't know how he handle his airforce because he beat me in his turn and mine. I have a lot of things to learn yet.

I received Turn 27 this morning and played, I sent the turn to Roy (Tec2).

Seille, you are a very good player. Your planes have been pissing me off the whole game.

You continuously bomb my artillery and tanks, so my offensive stall all the time. I have had slaughtered you if you where not that good. Specially those planes that drive me nuts. They keep surviving and teasing.

I recovered the hexes in the Maginot Defense Line and opened a bigger hole. I hope your armies collapse soon, but they are holding for now.

I will start to hit Allan now, let see if I can cross that thin piece of land separating my main land to his main land.

The problem is: what happens if we have some players that drop the geme.
We have not decided an individual or allied winner. And if we keep playing with less empires, the amount of cities will be too much to handle.

My turn takes two hours. Sometimes more.

What is your vote?

option 1: let see what we can do
option 2: we start a different game with allied fight.

I am having fun with this game, but we must be realistic here. How long can we keep playing?

The game is still very much up for grabs.

2 hours of fun playing this game is why you do it. Enjoy it.
