A quick question as I found no definative info about it in the manual and I am only on my 2nd strat turn.

When I am refitting, do I want to use all my manpower and arms points? Early in the war do these replenish quickly? I have enought points to refit my entire western army's but I am worried it will leave me short later in the game. I read somewhere that kinda of brushed on the issue and made it sound like you should spend them all.

THanks!!

Manpower has never been an issue for me thus far. Arms points OTOH are in very, very short supply for the CP's.

I don't think it matters when you use them. You have a corps of 24. If you use 6 points on it in 1914 or 3 points in 1914 and 3 points in 1915 you get the same result.

Plus, as the CP you are fighting a race versus time. If you save your points for later there might not be a winnable later to use all those points on. As the TE, you are in the opposite position. You will have an embarrassment of riches later on so you should use what you've got early to stalemate the CP's until you can bury them.

thanks for the post. I see now that Germany is pretty well stocked at the beginning of the war. But I can also see the weight that is slowly bearing down on me. I have decided I must push, push, push now. As you said as the war grinds on my chances of winning are less and less.
