Why not let all nations put their own diplomacy phase first?

Diplomacy phases are not resolved until all nations have entered their move anyway.
No need to do them in a specific sequence.

Just occured to me, this might be the easiest way to implement true simultanious diplomacy.

Same for economic phases of course...

I think this issue has been raised before and Marshall is looking at it.

I am looking at these things BUT it is simply quite difficult to setup a IGOUGO game to be partially simultaneous. Although it can be done, the engine just doesn't lend itself to that type of flow easily?!?!?!?! :-\

I'll keep investigating different ways of doing this but for now it is IGONOGO.

LoL

I realize the IGOUGO is a fundamental structure of how the game is built.

In my little fantasy I just imagined you actually already had the pieces needed to solve this: The ability to change the moving order (as for France and GB). Doing something similar - locally - in each game, putting that nation up first. Then load all others in normal sequence would do the trick. I guess I just hoped to this could be a spark, igniting an idea of, how to do this.

But bear with me. I'm from lego-country. Taking things apart and assemble them differently is sort of a compulsory thoughtpattern...
