Another league to play in... Cool

Are you doing both versions? I saw that the Aztecs have 2 sets of jerseys, the Miami Hurricanes hand-me-downs (those ain't knockoffs, those are hand-me-downs, complete with the "U") and the baic black and orange ones.

nope I wont be doing the Miami Hurricanes jersey for the aztecs
little point as its just the Miami jersey, no alterations nothing
so if you want them in the miami jersey, you'll have to nick from the miami hurricanes uniform, just like bristol have done

Not sure because the set up of the league is far different to what you all across the pond are used too
and MaxFootball wont be able to incorporate it

we have the Premier league
league one and two

the Premier league being the top division and division 2 being the lowest

each year there are promotions and relegations (much like a soccer league)
the top teams in each division move up a division after they win a playoff game
and the lowest ranking teams are relegated to a lower division

Division are not regional over here but rather skill decided

If I can work out some sort of system then yes I will
otherwise it will be down to the individual to do it themselves

I'll maybe look at it as though it was an american league
and try work out some sort of regional system

went with an older uni' which will suit the likes of garysorrell etc

the new one just stinks, leg stripes that go all over the place then right across the knee
dont know what they was thinking when they designed that

Nice idea. Any chance of doing the BUAFL in the future? Simpler format in any case.

Should be able to find them via Wikipedia, probably on the respective university's website. The league format is similar to the NFL, with the teams with the best records outside of the Division winners advancing.

Nope wont be doing it

BUAFL website is down for re-newal
and wikipedia only gives logo and team colours

without seeing the style of the uniforms obviously they'll be impossible to make.

Mykal  I think you could make all the leagues in one file.I could make a switcher in vb6 for at the end of the season the teams could be promoted or demoted.

Is Google image search of any use? Searching for the team should be able to get you something...

Well if you can do that Commish, that would certainly help give the BAFL that realism feel thats for sure
and make it worth while creating the league DB.

Cheers, I'll look forward to seeing that then, when you have the time.

EDIT - just out of interest, did anyone ever make you the 2 uniforms you asked for some while ago
BC & Toronto if I remember correctly ?

If not, I'll do them, kinda like a trade off, favour for a favour.

well I'm pretty well adept at searching for stuff, obviously
but I'm hitting the same problem as I did with the CJFL (which I offered to do some time ago)
I can find a few teams but not even anywhere near half, so its totally pointless even starting it.

Wow 46 teams in the BAFL 3 divisions. What I will do is make three files. Then after i get the game to make the schedules for each I will intigrate it into one file.

No no one made the unies that would be great we are 2 to 3 weeks after the new patch is done the VCFL will restart

Man that sounds like it would make a really cool league.Mykal are you planing on doing a online league like the RCSL or MFBL with it.I think you would be a natural running that.Premier Division only has 8 teams that shouldn`t be hard to fill with your connections

Nope, wont be doing that Bro,
as I've said before, I have little interest in running my own online league

I have no problem helping others in any capicity I can to move there leagues forward
but actually running my own isnt on my lists of things to do

Okay there was 47 teams i miscounted. In division 3 I added a extra team from France to even the competition out.So that gives 48 teams the same number as the fantasy Canadian league you made.So I am using that file as a base for what I am building.

Yeah I'm with ya man
the french team will stand out, so the team to be switched will be easy to spot.

Mykal having problems with the file it doesn`t seem to recognize the different leagues in the one database. The only other way of doing it may be to do Conferences as Premier Division 1st division second divisions with each Division broken in to the divisions.
The schedule has been done up with each Division playing teams only in there division. The premier Division plays 8 games spread over ten weeks with the other two divisions playing 10 games. Not sure when I will get back to this trying to get the hay in while the weather is good.

if they have to broken into conferences to make it work, then thats the way it has to be,
no worries man

and no rush either, It'll tek me a good while to finish the uniforms anyway.
