ORIGINAL: cw58 Maybe it's just a matter of semantics. I would still call it a mod because it's the JTCS game engine that has been heavily modified. And I don't believe that he can charge for it because of copyright issues, but hey, I've been wrong before. I did some checking and it seems that you can download a demo but if you want the whole thing, you basically make a trade by creating some of the battle maps as part of his design team. So I guess you can call it whatever you like. Yes, it's a mod that runs on West Front. No, you don't have to do any work for him to play the thing, but to get the full experience you must play him in an e-mail game because he edits visibility, day/night, weather, and airstrike availability through the .bte file. We're playing Normandie, and up to turn 102 (of 250!). The game started in 1.02, so my Allies advanced pretty fast with the old assault rules. However, I would think with the new 1.04 assault rules it would flow at a more historical pace. Despite some minor OOB issues (where's my AA units Balck?), I can heartily recommend it. It's been the most fun I've had wargaming since playing the original Panzer General. ChadG
