Hi Guys,

I'm hopeing somone can tell me how to change to windowed mode?

The main issue I'm having however, is I'm not getting a combined combat report. I don't get any turn combat report, there are no buttons, no text files, no nothing...

Please help!

As for the combat report issue, not enough information. What's the game situation (vs. AI or PBEM) and which side are you playing?

Sorry about that.

Its a PBEM, I'm playing the Japanese.  I'm using no mods.  Version 1.804

Have you checked to see if your Combat Reports are turned on?

The settings only affect the next turn, assuming you're on a relatively current patch. You can't change the report settings to execute the Allied turn sent back to you.

What I would suggest is making sure you have all the reports on before you save the turn this time, and then see if they show up when you execute the return turn.

Ah, for the computer illitirate, which icon is the "application" icon? Is it the one that has the picture and is "WitP Executable"?

Windowed mode is not bugged at all. I have been using it since they added it in a patch years ago.
It works just fine, but there are things you can not do. You can not change the size of the window,
it has to remain as a 1024x768 window. Also, if you change the desktop resolution while the game
window is open, it can cause display problems. But just saving, exiting completly from the game and
restarting will correct it. It has to do with WitP not repainting the entire screen, just what it thinks
needs to be repainted. I should add that you can minimize the WitP screen and then change the desktop
resolution, but you must reset it back before you unminimize WitP or you will have a display problem.
The windowed switch was an add on and not really fully implemented as a true Windows window.

The icon on your desktop.
