ORIGINAL: Borsook I'm surprised at the lack of moderation in this forum (even though a moderator visits it frequently). Finding somebody annoying should not be an excuse for calling people "sods" and other personal attacks. I do apologize to the other members for my little rant, but I was just rather sick of watching one member make repeated inflammatory posts all over this forum . There are threads where he has posted 4 and 5 times in succession without a single reply; just endless rants. Implied in this thread (post 25) is the fact the game was purchased from the most reliable of all sources, E-Bay. This does not mean he is not entitled to updates but if the game is already registered, then caveat emptor. I have read many of the posts and most of the issues seem to be opinions as to how he sees the game should be which, as I read most of the posts here, seem to run counter to the majority opinion. As such, there is no valid complaint, IMHO. If you do not like a game's development or programming direction, why play it? The other issue seems to be Vista and according to one post he seems to dislike the fact he has to run as administrator and/or in compatibility mode. Why complain here when the issues are Microsoft/Vista related and are easily worked through. I gather he seems to think Jason should have reprogrammed Vista so the game just works without intervention else it is suddenly "incompatible with Vista". Last thought on the Vista issue, sometimes a user's configuration is at fault - as simple as a program installed and running in the background perhaps, one that seems innocent, could cause many problems. I have not seen posts where he is very forthcoming as to what the exact issue is, though I have read many touting his skills as a programmer/designer. I too have skills designing databases and other utility type programs for my employer but I would never assume to be an expert in game design, anything with Direct X, or many other programming chores. I enjoy reading these forums and I use them to find a great deal of advice and mentoring as to game play issues I may have. I have many Matrix games and hope to have more (c'mon we need another blitz sale ). I just get tired of someone running roughshod over these forums and the dev teams. I applaud Jason for holding back as much as he has and I can understand the frustration behind simovitch's "sods" comment. I had even tried PM'ing Erik about the posts here and in the support forums hoping to head things off and I see he has asked for a response from barker in the general announcement thread after barker claimed he was going to the BBB. Again, sorry to the other forum members
