Hi!

Help please! I am trying to create a new Landscape Type called Desert. The problem is that when I create or clone a new type and try to paint coastal hexes with it then it destroys coastal lines: the new type fills the whole hexagon rather than to fill only the land. What's the problem?

After you create the new landscape type you need to edit the Sea landscape type. There is a setting in there that sets teh override for different landscape types. You'll need to ADD to the list and this tells the Sea to cover the land.
