Probably a stupid question, but I cant figure it out; if i am playing with limited ammo, where does it say how much ammo I have and/or have left?

Also, do pack mules, ammo trucks, etc. assume they have all kinds of ammo for every type of unit (tank shells, inf bullets, etc.)

I've never seen an ammo truck refuse to reload at least some of a units ammunition from flamethrowers to 155 howitzer shells. They won't reload smoke, however.

An incomplete listing of the basic ammo available to the units is available using the Order of Battle button on the command bar. (Looks like a scroll or list). This usually only shows the primary weapon ammo.

Individual units ammo loadouts can be seen by selecting the unit and the hitting the spacebar. Remaining rounds by weapon type are displayed in the upper right hand quarter.

Ammo trucks don't display how much ammo they're carrying - it's assumed they have 'enough of whatever'.

There are no stupid questions - only stupid answers. I hope I kept up my end of the bargain. :D

Thanks for the reply. I still cant find the ammo list when hitting the space bar. On the far right is the unit's ratings (rally, experience, etc.). The only ammo I see on that screen is for smoke.

Limited Ammo is set to on, just in case it doesnt show if it is off.

Am I blind, or is it somewhere else?

Could be. ;)

Sorry - upper LEFT-hand quarter.

Displayed from top down are:

Unit name -
Stance (cover, advance, defense, etc.) -
Link with HQ -
Suppression level -

Weapon ____ HE ___ AP __ APCR __ HEAT __ Range

Smoke ammo -

You will quite often see 0 in the APCR and HEAT columns. HE is usually available in some quantity, but may be missing from certain, task-specific units.

BTW, Anything that's highlighted in Green can be modified. Unit and Leader names can be changed. Weapons can be toggeled on or off, and special orders, like telling an engineer to place mines or a vehicle to change stance can be selected.

See, you asked a reasonable question - and got a stupid answer anyway. :o

Cool, thanks. I saw that column but thought it was that weapon's rating. But... I started shooting and saw it go down.

Cool, thanks.

Instead of hitting the spacebar you can also 'right click' the mouse after selecting the unit to see unit details.

Also bear in mind that you can use ammo dumps as well as trucks for reloads.
