I am in a situation in my PBEM where I am down to just the Hornet and the two British CV's in Sep '42. I've pulled all the CV's down to the SoPac where our main ops are.

I want to put some well-trained American planes on the brit CV's to possibly enhance their effectiveness. I know there are some negative problems with non carrier trained A/C on a carrier but is there any further issue with the ship being of Brit origin?

Any thoughts? Too gamey?

Depends on who you are playing. Personally I dont see a problem with it. Ask the Jap player what he thinks.

Happened in reality. The Victorious operated USN air units (VF6) when she sailed with the Saratoga in mid-1943. Her Avengers served on the Sara during the same deployment.
