In the phase of deployment, how do you know how many units can be deployed?, I do not understand this paragraph.

I am not sure I understand your question?

When you begin a game all units are deployed according to historic setup. You are then given the opportunity to alter this setup to suite your strategy and playing style.

You can freely deploy the units of a country within its own border. Britain can also deploy in Egypt and India as well as in Britain.

All units can be redeployed but overstacking like the German at start deployment is not possible.
