ORIGINAL: KG Erwin Honestly, though, Shaun realized that most Puresimmers prefer to use real players, so that's the direction that final iterations of the game were accented towards. You can partially blame me, as I was very insistent in accenting the historical element, from the first day I became involved in the PS community. Thats all good with me! I usually play with historicals myself, which is why I questioned what was going on. I dug a little deeper in the XML file and read a comment about scrubs and/or super scrubs being generated every year, to keep the number of scrubs and/or super scrubs in the league at around (# of teams * 10). You can set the percentage of scrubs and super scrubs generated each season, but the percentage have to equal 100. For instance my XML shows that there will be 0% scrubs and 100% super scrubs generated, until the league has roughly (# of teams * 10) super scrubs in it. This makes a little more sense now, considering Im only in the offseason before the second year of the league. There probably isnt enough super scrubs in the league yet (less than 160) so the game generates them during the ammy draft, then when they arent picked, they end up as free agents. This also makes sense because all of the players over 23 years old want the minimum salary (in this case $500 in 1901). I susoect that once I get 160ish super scrubs in the league, Ill see less in the ammy draft
