We just played a game using some of the V1.20 features
like weather or the new diplomacy options.

One thing is VERY annoying when you play with teams.
One player is leaving the game and all his territory become UNOCCUPIED
instead of becoming territory of his team member.

This makes these games imbalanced. When i play as a team and surrender i want to
shift my complete territory to my partner before or in a automated way when a special
option is selected.

Imho possible to implement for you Vic. The needed execs and checks are already there, or ?

When i hit surrender that game should look at my relations and then shift my territory to the
empire i´m in peace with. When i´m in peace with two empires it may ask or do it at random.
The leaving player could control this by declaring war on that of his allies he don´t want
to give his territory (one empire in piece with him = only one empire can get his territory)

It would be indeed a very good addition to existing diplomacy options and i´m sure i´m not the
only guy who would like that option. Leaving players would cause less problems this way.

PLEASE think about.

This should be part of fixing the "not possible to send units through your allies land" issue perhaps?

@Widell

Even i would really like to have a option you suggested i think Vic can never realize it
without rewriting the game. The game engine simply doesn´t allow it.
The complete game mechanics are based on one empire as owner of a territory.
I doubt Vic can make this working even he was often a genius in the past.

So my idea would be a workaround (even very limited to the "big" solution),
but at least a workaround would be there. A realistic one with much better chances to
getting realized.

Before 1.2 it was at least possible to allow an ally a corridor into your territory for cooperative fronts. The game still treated your ally as an emeny as far as supply and FOW went.

I think seille has a good idea, it's often hard to keep players involved. The game tends to collapse if just one person wanders off.

Good suggestion Seille.  I like the idea as it would indeed be a good addition to multi-player games.

@Vic: Thanks for taking continued interest in refining this very good game.
