Hi guys

At the moment the game allows you to toggle between movement allowances and combat strengths for the units on screen.

Would it be possible to add a third option to show unit IDs instead? Abbrieviated if necessary. When you look at maps in history books, or indeed at the original maps used by the generals, that is the information which they saw, and that is how ideally I would like to play the game.

Would that be a big programming job?

I have already bought 3 games in the TOAW series, and would certainly buy TOAW III if that was included in a future update.

Regards to all

That's an interesting idea. If one just saw unit i.d. and the condition lights, one would be in a position more akin to that of historical generals.

I'm fine with it as is- I use combat strengths and the other unit information in the top right window of the screen on a selected unit works for me.

But what about leaving as is and adding tooltips? That's where as you hover over a unit you get a little window opening up right beside it with this extra information. If you've got and use the Victory Level Calculator, that's the idea- hover over any button and it tells you what it does. Likewise it could do this for units.

Thanks and apologies if I've wasted time. And of course, I should have guessed Ralph would have thought of this. Been busy away and just perusing to try to catch up.
