Situation :

A single stack with :
3 Austrian fleet = about 25 Freg.
2 Napolitan fleet = 15 Vais + 10 Freg.

GB Move :
A stack with 40 Freg choose to fight ONLY the Napolitan fleet !!! (GB great victory of course !)

THEN (immediatly after previous combat) :
The same GB fleet fight against the austrian fleet !!! (GB great victory of course !)

Result :
About 20 ships destroy for the combined fleet AND 5 PP lost !
...and a few for GB !

Very good rule isn't it ?

No coment about others curious situation

For exemple, I am not able to fight a against fleet in a blockade box !!!!
Impossible to select a fight against them or nothing hapen when click on port or blockade stack...

This could be related to Mantis bug 308, which involved major-minor stacking, both for movement and for port combats. It's currently listed as resolved in 1.05, but it would be good to verify that the fix also addresses the situation you describe, where a major-minor stack is attacked at sea.

This should be resolved in 1.05.

La Provence:

To relieve a blockade (Attack the blockaders) simply select your fleet then select the port at which point you should be prompted if you want to relieve the blockade?

If in blockade box :
Just to be sure, as far as i know the navies "Aus" + Naples fleets only combine if they are controlled by the same power. "Eg owned/lend".

If in sea area, beside needing controlled by same power, if they are not and
if the Naples Fleets have intercept they could fight GB fleet as part of a interception battle,
and then next GB could attack the Austrian navy with his navy.

Bresh

I'm having a similar situation. I'm playing France. I control Naples and Holland. All of my French Fleets are stacked in Toulon

(which by the way - needs to have its port guns bumped back up to 90...which has been said before and may be in the fixes for 1.05)

with the Dutch and Naples fleets. If I hit the "naval stack mode" (or some such button) to "on", only the French move out. This could be potentially disasterous if I was attempting to run the blockade or whatever. Will this be changed/fixed? Either I should be able to check which ones I want to go OR at least have the whole stack (minus transports, I get that).

The same for me (Naples and Austrian fleet)

If I click on Austrian fleet THEN Combined movement button = only Austrian fleet move.
BUT
If I click on Napolitan fleet THEN Button combined movement = ALL the fleet move together !

Always the case.
If this info helps you ....

I confirm : impossible for me to attack a blockade fleet.
