In light of the potential scenarios coming up and being created...

I think there are a couple things that are very important to this game..

KINGDOMS!!! we need more of them...as is, a lot of the minors are fought for only in regards to manpower and money...not the formation of kingdoms.

options for cheaper naval units or better rules for the navies with evasion, interception, blockading after battle, not intercepting twice after being defeated in the same naval movement...this game is not amenable to an even near legitimate naval game...too much imbalance with the game rules, such as no ability to reinforce a single corp, etc...causes fleets to get scuttled often..and a quick end to any naval game except for gb.

speed of game. this is by far the most important issue. games just fizzle when it takes so long to complete...I don't care what people say about being close to the original...this needs to be addressed ASAP so that the game can be more fun. People that want to play the current way...just keep that as an option...but this needs to change...

The computerized version should be a great way to play a 30 year campaign...but not if it takes a month to do 4 phases!
