Please try the "Quick Start" shortcut in your Start menu folder for CNAW instead of going through the Game Menu and see if that helps. If that doesn't work, you may need to try the manual shortcut procedure above (let us know if you need help with that).

Can you give me an "idiot's guide" to the cmd.exe instructions please.

.....and "tomorrow never comes" someone said once.
Ooops not today..maybe tomorrow for the update.
Scotland is 5 hours ahead and Im home now after finishing work.[22.00]Now wanting to wind down and relax/switch off.Lets switch the computer off instead.

downloaded 1.06 from Matrix site and applied serial number.

NO JOY!!

exact same as previously quoted by self and others above.

What do I do Now??

Will I be able to play it at Christmas?

Status: offline 		Sad to say that you are not alone in respect of your problem - I too have been unable to play this game for the same reason - all I have been offered was a refund which I took - I would have preferred a fix so I hope that the powers that be will sort this out for all of our sakes - good luck.

I made sure to defrag (just in case ...again)
I uninstalled both main file and patch.I then reinstaled both... et voila.
I have had a quick dance through the tutorial (in disbelief at success of it working)

I now can truely add that in a future update consideration should be given to artillery range being reduced.

I will post if I come across anything else on my travels .....
