Status: offline 		I have already asked this question below but have not received any kind of response on the question. I have reposted in the hope that somebody will return from Matrix Games,see it at the top, and answer the question before the Jan 7th Sales End Deadline –

I am in the UK – if I buy Guns Of August now, Jan 5th 2009, will I get the new/revised manual mentioned in the link below in PRINTED form:

i.e has the ‘new gold master and the new print run’ mentioned in this link become a reality and filtered through to the stocks being sent out.

I am a collector and if things haven’t caught up yet I would rather wait.

It goes without saying I have also raised a ‘help issue’ under the members area but, presumably due to the holidays, this has gone without an answer.

Hopefully somebody can clarify the position in time.

There is now only 24 hours left to the sale. All I want, especially considering this is my second post, is what will I get for my money.

Very frustrating.

Akagi1708 perhaps your request should better go through the "Support" section to Matrix? If you make a reference to your entry in this forum Matrix should be large enough to give you the discount regardless whether discount has expired or not.

Status: offline 		I must admit that I have already raised a help request before Xmas on Dec 21st but the reply I got yesterday didn't really answer the question. I have therefore had to go back via that channel as well as here on this forum.

Very frustrating.

I'm sorry I didn't spot this before the sale ended. We don't have the staff to check every forum thread every day and unfortunately this slipped through. We were also on vacation until the 5th and I was out of the office yesterday due to weather, so forum time has been extremely limited.

To answer your question though, the printed manual is the original version. It has not yet been updated, only the PDF manual has. It will be updated when the original print run is used up.

Status: offline 		Thank you for coming back. Even though the sale s ended you have proved that I made the right 'call' by holding back form ordering - I didn't really miss anything

I am certain that I will buy the title but at a later date - the next sale say - so that I get the latest version. Of course I can raise the question of what print run we are on , the original or revised, at that time.
