I'm new to this forum so please pardon my ignorance if the answer to this question is something everybody already knows.
I originally owned the first version of Steel Panthers (with the extra campaign CD) and absolutely loved it. I just downloaded version 7.1 and would like to add the scenarios from Steel Panthers version 1 to the new game. Is this something that can be done? Is there any way to convert the old files for use in the new version? If not, has somebody recreated the old scenarios for version 7.1? I really enjoyed a lot of the scenarios in that first game and would hate to not be able to play them anymore.

Welcome aboard Kirk.

Sorry to say but maps from previous versions of SP won't work in SPWAW, though some of the popular ones are re-done by designers. Many times, scenarios/maps from past versions of SPWAW won't load properly if there has been alot of changes implemented between those versions. Check out some of the scenario download sites: the map/battle you're looking for may have been updated!
