It's just too damn hard! It's one of those games...tells you you can't do something, but not points you to the source. I've tried to complete a turn more than once now and each and everytime, I end up with the same situation...cannot progress. I know it's my fault...but the game won't bloody help me. It tells me there's a problem. It tells me why I can't end the turn...but not specifically...and it doesn't take me to the cause of the problem. I had the same issue with GG WaW, which is why I ended up dropping that. I just couldn't get my head round the fact that the game told you you couldn't do something, but wouldn't twell you what to do to get over the issue. I mean...if it can recognise you have a problem, why not tell you where the problem is and, better still, centre on it if it's on the map! It really is very very frustrating. I know it's going to be a great game when I get a grip of it, but at the moment I'm just picking and clicking stuff in the hope I get over the problems!! In my latest attempt at moving the game past turn 1, I decided to turn off the rules for strict movement and combined forces etc...eventually, gave up again. That's my fourth attempt at turn 1!! It's telling me I haven't activated all my armies or something...that was actually the error priot to me switching off the strict turn option...but there is something stopping me progressing my turn. I've downloaded the manual sections available...nope. Nothing there helps. Of course, they are better than the manual that came with the game, but it's still lacking. It seriosuly needs a step by step on how to progress through a turn. Just voicing some frustrations. I expect as I continue to load it up and try 1st turn againa, again and again I'll become proficient. Oh...on the positive side, I'm surprisingly not fussed now by the map orientation. I'm still mad such a stupid choice was made...but it doesn't actually affect me in the game.
