Matrix games tend to sit on my computer longer than any other games. It isn't that I play them more, in fact, I am always saying "I should play that and learn it more" it is just that I "collect" them to have a wargaming backlog (then play something silly like Dwarf Fortress). The way I see it, I have my wargaming all set when I get the urge. Sure, I need to sit down and really get into some of them (GG:WBtS, CoG, GoA, TOAW) and some of them I have played for many hours (Advanced Tactics). Still, when you can always come back to them - because the graphics are not (nor should be) "top-of-the-line," these games are suprisingly long-lasting and hardly ever go "out of date." So I have no problem keeping these games on my hard drive, to play or to save to play. Only a few games did I not enjoy at all. Most notably Empire in Arms and Uncommon Valor. This was really a lack of familiarity with the UI and the system rather than being bad games. Otherwise, I have bought tons of Matrix games with few regrets. SoM
