Buying brigade attributes- slightly broken?

In my game, it is possible to buy a brigade attribute that a brigade already has. All this does is deduct money and horses and gives you nothing extra in return.

Does anyone else experience this? It's a minor problem but it seems kinda sloppy. The player should be prevented from doing this, I think.

Well, sometimes it works.
Buying two sharpshooters, for instance, will double the bonus you get.

Yeah I should clarify what I mean.

A brigade has two attribute slots, top and bottom. The top is occupied by, say, sharpshooters. The bottom is empty. When I click the top slot (which is occupied) it lets me buy another sharpshooters, but the bottom slot is still empty, right? It is in my game, at least.

It just seems like the player should not be able to do this because he could accidently spend money and guns without benefit if he clicks the wrong slot.

Someone else pointed this out just a week or two ago, before which no one had. (Not to my recollection, at least.)

You're right that it shouldn't be possible to purchase the same attribute for a slot twice. But at the same time, this is a mistake that's easy to avoid, once one is aware of it.

Eric (= programmer) is aware of this, so perhaps for a future patch he'll make this impossible to do.
