Yes, that's actually my screenshot to Mario. I could repeat the problem as well.

Seems to be ok with a 2nd game we've started, although we're only on turn 2 so far. We'll keep y'all updated when/if it happens again.

Mario has also just complained about 'invisible' units. He had to reload the turn and then it worked. During our first game however, no matter how many times I reloaded, they stayed invisible. This could lead to corrupt turns I imagine....

Variants. Not so sure if it happens with Historical, haven't tested it yet. Has no one else experienced this problem? It's happened a few times now. Anyhow, in a current game, me vs Mario, it happened once to Mario, but when he reloaded the problem disappeared.

weird. I tried over the weekend on 2 machines and can't get a variant secure game to fail (played to end of turn 3).  If you have no important games going you may wish to uninstall the game and do a clean install and see if the problem re-occurs (as well as your opponent).  Perhaps there's a corrupt file somewhere.  Which variants were selected for which side?

cheers

Axis variant 6. And now a other think.
There was problems with my AO in the last 2 turns I PBEM. The area of my Rumanian expend in turn 3 and then shrink back to the original position in turn 4 moving back all the units I advance in the process.

Stupid question maybe, but did all the involved persons patch the game to version 1.10(shown in the lower left corner of the startup screen)?

I have also posted the following on the main forums.

We have discovered, and already fixed a problem in PBEM games played with the new version 1.1 of Kharkov. The problem can cause the variant being played to change, with somewhat undefined and unwelcome results. We will release a patch soon that fixes the problem.

We recommend that players immediately suspend play on any PBEM games started with the 1.1 version until a new patch is issued, at which point it should be safe to resume play. We apologise for the interruption.

The problem does not affect single player games.

I'd like to thank forum member Mario Vallee for promptly sending in the files that enabled us to track and fix the problem.

Gregor

Since a follow up patch will soon follow do you think the annoying mouse icon flutter over the buttons above and below the "i" button can be fixed?

And on a bigger request (which I don't think is possible in a short time but I could be wrong) ... in another post, I touched on something half joking that soviet units that get "removed" from the battle field and are not surrounded receive additional replacements to the replacement pool.  Since German forces are able to re-enter the battle why can't soviet forces get something in return.  (maybe one replacement for every two destroyed units or something like that)  AS was described to me, soviet doctrine was to not reform units but let the other units absorb the remnants of destroyed ones.

If this has already been mentioned please excuse.

Is anyone else's F2 (entrench selected unit) and F4 (drop detachment) buttons working?

All other Function keys are working fine but those two do not
.  Those keys on my keyboard are OK on my machine because they work with other games.

Help!  I'm trying to learn to play faster and that specific funcion key helps me out a lot.

thanks
Hank

Thank you sir.  You're just too good to us.  We don't deserve such good treatment.
