I have a special FireFox plugin that finds pages by context, so I just type in "OMG THIS GAME IS BROKEN!!!111" and it dumps me here..

This was a good move, as the list of games by themselves was getting enormous.

I think the number of hits is still recorded. Look at the WWII folder and all the games listed within it still retain their individual tallies.

Yep, if you click on the category header, you see all the individual forums within in the old-style list. We've got more improvements planned, this was just the first wave of reorganization to make the length of the forum list a bit more reasonable and organized for new customers.

Erik,

I don't know about others, but sometimes I sense some hostility for WitPers from the Matrix Games staff - kind of like "why don't you talk/be interested in our other games?". That WitP is disliked because it is such an exhaustive game and was a lot of work, and games with less investment and complexity, like say "World at War" doesn't have an established fan base. I could be wrong, but I get that hunch. I'm pretty sure that I've noted this attitude from 2X3 games.

I mean, I know you can't divulge business info, but isn't UV/WitP your most profitable game ever?

ColFrost,

I can assure you that's entirely your imagination. There is _absolutely zero_ hostility towards UV/WITP and its fans among the Matrix Staff. We love the games, we love the community and we'll continue doing our best to work with you all to keep things going to AE and beyond.

WITP is definitely one of our best sellers and I know that we and 2by3 are all delighted that everyone is continuing to enjoy it. It was definitely a mammoth project and an epic undertaking - the upcoming AE has been even more so in some ways. But while it exhausted us and 2by3 to a degree to design, develop and release it, we've always been proud of it and very happy at how its been received.

Would we like you guys to also look at our other games? Of course! And I think most do, but if the only game you play is WITP, that's fine too.

Regards,

- Erik

ColFrost , Erik , you guys are from the same state....you should get together for a beer.  Seriously Erik, Joe , I just wanted to say that not only have I not had any hostilty from Matrix, I felt like part of the extended Matrix family! What I mean by that , is when you guys go on the forum , there's a feeling that we are getting an insight  to whats going on. The fact that you folks are willing to take time to answer our questions, complaints, whines, etc, is greatly appreciated.

I don't know how often you hear it , but I for one would like to say that you have good products , good service and in general you guys make me very glad that I purchased your products. Thanks for the good work , and thanks for your time!

I am almost sorry I went back and looked, I have purchased 10 different games from Matrix over the years. Hope my wife doesn't figure that out.
