A virtual pilot name of Olham54 posted a video that he made while flying an add-on to Microsoft's CFS3 called Over Flanders Fields:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOHgyblc3pU

He titled the clip "Day of the Albatros." It shows him doing battle with some Royal Aircraft Factory SE5. He does a nice job of shooting, BTW, and handling his aircraft.

The expansion is really a lot of fun. WW1 crates are technologically crude, so there aren't a lot of bells and whistles on board to attend to. Pilots just fly the aircraft and shoot at stuff.

There's a new version, Between Heaven and Hell that just became available for sale. Check it out if you get a chance.

Interesting looking game. But that pilot is not much of a shot, can't seem to judge lead.

Kinda swarmy music.

The Albatros has good speed, for its time, and is a fine gun-platform. However, maneuverability wise, the aircraft is pretty much of a hog. It has an abysmal roll-rate and struggles with about any Allied pursuit type in turns. The driver in the video repeatedly positions himself for an effective burst and does a dandy little job of tagging the SE5 before they scoot out from under his axis of fire. Doesn't look sloppy to me at all.

Visibility is definitely an issue in those old crates. Some players turn the cockpit off, but that spoils it for me. I like the challenge of managing difficulties such as restricted views.

I think that the developer/organizer is aiming for the total immersion effect:
