Any way to get embedded boxes to be resizable? Take this screen shot for example, I cannot see anything to the right. No bar at the bottom and cannot resize the embedded window either.

Actually that is my bad programming / a Java foul up - the picture is being mirrored on the right hand side and I'm unsure how to fix it presently. So you aren't missing anything on that screen - just the duplication of what you can see...

Micheal(Ny59) ... send me the file and I'll have a closer look if you can't determine the problem. Looks like a scenario problem - maybe....

I have a new request, gents.  On the Device Pool History panel, is it possible to make the columns sortable?  Primarily, I'm thinking of the Current Device Usage "Delta" column.  I'd love to see all the LCU's that received items from the pool last turn without scrolling through the entire list.  Also, as I'm starting to load more turns (you can see I've only used Tracker for the last 12 game turns) the most recent turn by default is at the bottom of the list.  Either making the columns in the top panel sortable as well, or at least defaulting to the most recent turn at the top would make things even easier for me to use than you already have.

Yeah, my oversight to leave the sorting out on the table. I just added it:

As always, my congratulations and thanks for making such a great, useful tool.

Thanks for the compliments. Keep the ideas coming...

Thanks, Floyd! Top half of this panel, too?

BTW, your name always catches my eye. My last name is Floyd, and one of my email addresses is floydm.

Yes, I just made it both tables in the window - top and bottom.

Floyd, I've finally gone back and loaded all 110 turns from my current game into Tracker, and I would like to formally request that all the history type panels default to the most recent turn at the top of the list.  Almost never will I want to look at the data from turns 2 or 3, so even if I can quickly sort the turn list with a couple of mouse clicks, I think the Tracker would be more user friendly defaulting to the most recent turn at the top.

Edit: I've also found several more popup windows, mostly history type, that are currently unsortable. Don't know if you addressed them all or not.

I agree with USS America, it'd be nice if history windows defaulted to the most recent turns, rather than the oldest ones. Not a big deal to me, but it'd be nice.

A simular error to what I have reported but different. The Inf squads are not showing in the formation display and it does not update if I exit tracker and reload. Note that last turn they increased from 0 to 3 and it is not reported.

Nomad -

Can you send me save files that have this problem (turn before upgrade and turn after upgrade)?

I sent you an email with 4 game turns in it.

Oops, I guess 4 is too many, I resent with only two turns.

When I try to initialise the database before loading in the first day, I get a ArrayOutOfBoundsException on the Base class. WTFO?

Thanks.

It appears that Hong Kong has a port SPS of 10 and we didn't really expect that to happen. Can you actually expand that port beyond 10?

This is a question for el cid. Let me pass it to him.

Thanks for checking. If HK has an SPS of 10 (starts at 8, it appears), can it expand to 10? What about 11?

Hi all,

Just one small question (sorry it it was answered earlier - I am not that frequent in this specific thread)...

Will WitPTracker work with WitP-AE (i.e. is there a cooperation of WitPTracker authors and WitP-AE team)?

From my understanding you can set it in the editor to be a 10, but it will not expand above 9 through expansion/building.

My suspicion is that it won't expand past 9, but el cid points out that it is one of the great harbours of the world and definitely has the infrastructure for 10.

Yeah Floyd - seems you can do whatever you want in the editor - not sure if it effects gameplay, but 9 is the max that can be built.

Still gotta email you sometime with some updates etc - going to get back into it shortly...

I wonder if others are experiencing long load times? The turns load well enough, but the initial loading is getting very long. I have 200+ turns loaded up. I have a pretty good computer, 3GHz Dual core, 2 GB of RAM, 7200 RPM Barracuda hard drive, and for what its worth, a 8800 GTX Video card. I have tried using the -Xms256m and -Xmx256m switches, but they only helped a small amount. Is there some way to unload some of the earlier turns? Or do I have to do a delete and reload?

I assume that means if the port is a 9 (10), it can't be built to a 10.

If that's the case, maybe El Cid should reconsider the way he has RHS set up and make Hong Kong a 10 (10) from the get-go, since it will never be the monster port he expects it to be...

No way to "unload" turns.
Maybe we should consider a function that will reduce the DB size (e.g., removing pilot history for really old turns, etc).

Well, I solved the problem. Interesting enough I set the stack switches a number of turns ago and it seemed to help the load times. But it looks like after a while it hurts the load times, and hurts them a lot. I took out the -Xms256m and -Xmx256m switches, did a complete cold reboot of my computer and now the times are back down to about 2 minutes for 210 turns. That is a lot better than the 7 minutes it was taking.

I'm at 195 turns, and my load times are getting a bit longer, but still tolerable. The bigger issue for me is that Tracker runs out of memory after I've played and loaded 3 or 4 turns. Also, it really seems to be sluggish when I go to "Industry" and select the "global" tab; that takes a LONG time to update, and sometimes it hangs.

Now, I keep Tracker going in the background while I'm playing WITP; perhaps this is not a good idea? But I like peeking at it sometimes during the plot of a turn, and it does take a while to load.

Does anyone else have this showing? I have some air squadrons that are showing a large number of
pilots in tracker. In the game they are showing 24 or so pilots. Are these some kind of pool pilots?

The numbers come from the save file itself. The first number is what the airgroup says it has and the number in parens is how many pilot entries have this AG listed.
Is the same problem in one of the save files you sent me before? If so, I can look at that, too.
