Try:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1537048864

Looks pretty darn cool :D

No idea why the URL displays in a truncated form, but the link appears valid in Netscape

Just to nitpick, that is a map of Prokhorovka (Alexandrovsky) and not Kursk. At least that is what the Russian label says...

To nitpick more, isn't the Prokhorovka area the one we're thinking of when we say "Kursk" ? ;)

B'sides, why does it say "Aleksandrovskij" in bold? Was that the Soviet name?

My understanding is that Prokhorovka is the name of the small town near where the famous tank battle took place, which was only a small part of the whole "Battle of Kursk" or "Operation Citadel" area, which refers to the larger city nearby.

Yes, the Operation Citadel area was alot bigger:

The tank battle was all over the place, but the most famous fighting was along the ridge leading to Prokhorovka. This area is the southern tip of the "pincher" around Kursk, where the SS Panzer Corps of IV Panzer Army ran into too much trouble, IIRC.

The northern pincher movement went much better initially, but was also stopped.

My point was that at least in my mind, "Kursk" means the Prokhorovka fighting, altough the operation was MUCH larger than that.

I'll shut up now ;)
