So,been enjoying the game for the last couple of weeks and have to say that I am stoked. Brings back the memories of the ooold JA1 and even one of my favourite games : Syndicate.. The only thing is the few bugs that practically render the game, well, not unplayable, but extremely frustrating : 1. The LOS thing : The line of sight is not working properly. Not only for the grenade launchers (you cant volley anything) but more often than not you can not fire from the prone position without hitting the ground. Many times it is impossible hitting a prone, unconscious victim from 2 feet away when the shooter is standing... "not seeing the target, can not shoot..". The kneeling position is a bit better but it only takes one nearby object to mess things up. Shooting from inside sandbag positions is 50/50 deal, victim being behind a barbed wire fence makes it next to impossible to hit him. 2.Movement paths : Well, damn that sucks. A railway tracks or tree trunk in over a path stops the team dead square (for example in harbour map, close to the lighthouse). Let alone steep cliffs makes the advance very slow when you have to click dozens of times to make the characters advance 10m... And the worst part is that the characters USE ENERGY EVEN WHEN NOT A SUCCESSFULL MOVE IS MADE. If you are careless, you can loose half of the energy when trying to make your guys move. And that brings me to the last issue... 3. Energy consumption : Hehheh... I have to say I have had some good laughs with this issue... It is a Laurence & Hardy´esque to see 6 mean-lean-killin-machines twitching on the ground like a bunch of overweight epileptics because they are soooo tired walking 80 meters and then running for 9 meters...the unfunny part is that the AI is making their own crawling moves few meters away because the AI path mapping has made them run circles for the last 15 minutes.... Like, come on! Laying covering fire wears you so out that you cant drop a clip any more? Running for 100 meters makes you faint? Theese men are supposed to be ex-special forces guys that do 60km forced marches without rest ,wearing 60kg packs in one go.. Is there any word from the team if we could expect any developement in the areas? And thanks again for a great game!
