(Unless I'm playing an MC, where I have no choice.) :D Here is my reasoning: You get more shots from an atty unit than an airplane. In the many battles that I have fought since discovering SP:WaW I can count on the fingers of one hand the times I've had aircraft available for more than one attack. By and large, atty hits the general area you order it to. (With the exception of rocket atty, which I find can land all over creation.) You can never be quite sure what target an airplane will select, or even if it will be an enemy vehicle. Basically, those are my thoughts on the subject, for whatever they are worth. :D Eric Maietta [/B][/QUOTE] I concur with AMP. and for the same reasons. You don't have unlimited points to spend (usually :) ) , so you'll want to get the best bang for your buck. That most often DOESN'T mean aircraft. OTH, good tank busters (late war AC w/ rockets, for instance) can wreak far more havoc on an enemy's vehicles than a comparable cost of artillery or ground units. You can buy a lot of Mustangs for what an 155mm OBA Bty costs. :D My Rule of Thumb: If you have effective air assets that are reliably available (like the US Army), and you expect a lot of vehicles on the opposing side - buy Air Strikes. If you have anything less, or you expect a majority of Infantry units on the opposing side - buy Artillery and ammo reloads. :)
