Greetings

I am puzzled as I don't succeed in changing (let's say a US 105mmm fiel gun) a gun from "direct fire" to "undirect fire".

I thought changing the value in the "fire direction" row would be enough (from 0 to 1 like the mortars) but it doesn't work.

Anyone has an idea how to make guns fire (HE) in indirect mode?

Are you sure you modified the correct 105mm gun?
On the weapons.txt, there is a 10.5cm L/28 gun (weapon class index 40).

There is a 105mm L/28 gun (weapon class index 65). This one is used by the self-propelled sherman 105mm. I was able to convert this one to howitzer firing mode.

It also appears important that you switch the weapon type = 8 (mortar). Column E in weapons.txt.

Of course, its not a mortar, its a howitzer, but since the trajectories are both not-linear and high in the air, its a good approximation.

crushingleeek, I got a question. I was able to change it to get the orange "indirect fire" line like the mortars but when i try to use the 105 in game it says the crew "can't see", How would i them to "see"
