hi,
i think something is wrong with the last patch about the damaged/destroyed tanks.

In the MP campaing we are playing, NO ONE of the damaged tanks ir recovered by repairings. In the manual, it says that is supposed that the 40% is recovered by repairing, thanks to loose the other 60%. But our experience is that any tank damaged = tank loosed.

Can you check this please?¿

My german Panzer force destroyed the allied tank force. Destroyed 5 enemy tanks. I got 1 panzer inmoviliced by enemy fire, and 2 bugged by terrain.

So allies lost 5 tanks (Shermans and M10), and germans lost 3 tanks (3 Panthers!)

Absolutly absurd. I absolutly won the map and the battle and got my force damaged hardly....

Please, check this!!

Maybe each damaged tank is checked individually for the 40% survival test and not 40% of the aggregate amount of tanks damaged.

Trying to find time to set up a repeatable test.

but from the techie

"Damaged vehicles works as documented, but it only repairs vehicles that are immobilized or have weapon damage.  Knocked out or abandoned vehicles are assumed lost for the duration, as are vehicles that take > 60% crew casualties. "

Thanks Andrew, but you should find time to test this ;) what your techie says its true and i already know. Thats not the problem. All inmovilized tanks are lost as the game is now. Same for any other damaged tank that loose weapon. Test it.

thanks

Before Top
During middle
After Bottom

It shows the KT being badly damaged but repaired for the second days battle. (Note 3 KT's available before and after... injured crew member in the second days battle)

I tried this a few times and found I had repaired tanks returned to the battlefield

I also tested this with tracked only vehicles to find the same result... repairs are carried out between turns and vehicles are put back into action.  (Note: it takes a lot of driving through forests to get the vehicles tracked.... when you want them to be)

Before

During

Next battle
