Does any one know the conversion factor use to convert the Range value from the OOB to Range in Hexes? Can someone provide me with the Penetration vs Range algorithm use to compute the penetration charts seen when you examine one of your units in the game. This is the chart which lists penetration values for ranges of 1, 10 ,20, 30, 40, and 50.

The number used in the oob say for the average rifle is 48 or so, this is divided by 4 to get the range in hexes, 12. However after 50 hexes, it gets funny, long range weapons like arty, have typical 2XX numbers, the last two, say 210, the '10 would times '8' to get the range 80 in this case. The highest number allowed is 231 BTW ------------------ Mike Amos Meine Ehre Heisst Treue
