Thanks for the tip. But strategic/"grand operational" simulations of the entire ACW are not exactly my thing. There have always been very fine games of the ACW at the tactical level, and recently decent to good games at the strategic level. But another dream I have is an extensive set of mid-level scenarios simulating the important campaigns of Napoleon and the ACW--at the operational, theater level. For instance, TOAW scenarios to simulate: Grant's Vicksburg Campaign Bragg's Kentucky Campaign Rosecran's Chickamauga Campaign McClellan's Peninsula Campaign Jackson's Valley Campaign Lee's Bull Run/Antietam Campaign Napoleon's Austerlitz Campaign Napoleon's Wagram Campaign etc., etc. A comprehensive set of scenarios like the subject of this message thread. You will see many tactical simulations of battles from those campaigns, but to the best of my knowledge, there have never been a comprehensive series of games (not isolated, one-shot scenarios) to simulate the important campaigns (not battles) of Napoleon, Lee, Grant, etc.
