ORIGINAL: JudgeDredd Tank heavy and troops were slaughtered. Maybe I didn't adapt to playing it the way it was designed. I found it very, very frustrating...and the east was never my fav theatre anyway. It was the demise of the series for me...I didn't by another one...but I played A Bridge Too Far for a very, very long time. Frankly I didn't find the re-release much better either. It's still tank heavy (when I played it when I first bought it...I don't know what patches did). I guess it's because the game didn't divide force types into tank/infantry/etc. but dumped everything into the battle force. Personally, I played CCIV, CCV, CC3:VoT, WaR and CCMT and I liked CCMT the best. CCIV, CCV and WaR somehow didn't really suck me in. WaR has very cool weapon sounds, etc. but I don't find the CCIV-CCV campaign system very appealing - when I played these games, I basically played it for a few days, because I didn't have any real reasons to conquer map after map. I would prefer something much more personal - something that would place me in a role of a platoon commander or a company commander during a realistic dynamic campaign.
