Who knows? Maybe this one will be better.

Wasn't bad imo, a little "infomercially" ( just made that word up ).  I liked the attempt to use a blend of clips, CGI, actors, stills etc. to make the topic more approachable to the average viewer.  I guess the challenge the History Channel has in presenting these sort of shows is that to make them appealing to a wide enough audience they have to make them easy to understand, and entertaining. The associated problem is that often significant or controversial facts are left out, or mistakes are made, that make watching the show unpalatable for some of us.

Status: offline 		My 13 daughter ( who puts up with her Father, Grandfather, and Uncle constantly rehashing bits of military history at family events ) watched Patton360 with me. She said that is was easier to follow and understand than most of the other documentaries that I watch. It kept her attention, and I was able to add some comments and further background. It also helped that I had recently finished a book about the Sicilian/Italian campaign.

I looked at those but I'm not sure. Not too much information given. I'm going to pull out an old VCR tape recording of the show to see if the directors are the same.
