Remember reading somewhere; hope it wasn�t in the manual; that an airfield picks a primary base force, and that base force�s aviation support will grow if you expand the airfield. Problem is I can�t get my base forces aviation points to grow, even with the replacement button on? Thanks.

Unfortunatelly that�s only for the computer player (and it�s in the manual, see 15.4)

Yes it's only a 'help the poor AI' ability (you're expected to manage your assets better).
