Haven't heard much about the forthcoming AttD II expansion/add-on/expansion. At least, I think that was promised some time ago, a re-working of the KP expansion? Anyone have any insight into when it might be popping up, and for how much?

As far as I know from what I read on the Run5 forum it's still being worked on. Be paitent, these usually take a long time to make! Head over to the run5 forum if you want to know more.

1. Thanks for the response.
2. No thanks for the condescension. Please don't tell me to "be patient." I bought my first SSG game in the early 1980s, and have been a regular purchaser and fan since then. My question was entirely reasonable, given the extremely long time between the announcement of this product and its (still unconsumated) arrival. I have plenty to do and don't need AttD II to avoid an attack of anxiety. I'm simply curious about when it's going to be arriving.
3. I visit run5 fairly often. If there was anything about AttD II that was new I'd have seen it; I decided to ask here, where it'll be actually, you know, available for purchase.

Nope, got out of bed the same side I always do--my wife doesn't like me crawling over to get out on her side.

They have to wait the reasonable amount of time so they can charge full game price. You know they had to change some other aspect, but don't worry this will be the version for all versions, blah, blah blah.....

Across the Dnepr II is getting closer to completion. The only large task remaining is the AI. It's a big scenario, so this could take some time. We are guilty as charged of continuing to improve our game system, but all changes will be retrofitted to Kharkov, indeed some of the changes in the recent patch were done more for the benefit of ATD than Kharkov itself. As usual, it will be done when its done.

To TheWombat: I was NOT being condescending in ANY way. You took that way out of context my friend. I will be more specific since scenarios so you don't think that I am talking down to you, or the wrong way. Most scenarios are user made, meaning they do them on their own time. When I said be patient, I meant keep the faith. I didn't know you were also checking the run5 forum.

And I apologize for being so snippy. I'm sure you were just being helpful. I do get a bit over-zealous sometimes, as years of reading forums have fine-tuned my sense of annoyance to the extent that it sometimes gets hyperactive. Thanks, sincerely, for the response.

Thanks for the info. I'm having fun (still) with BiN, BiI, Kharkov, and Battlefront, but definitely lust after new material, particularly new AI enabled stuff with full AO support. I can see that designing battles for this system is no easy task, but the results are quite good.

One thing to note about the Matrix site is most, if not all of the members do not flame members. Unlike other forums which I have experianced, this is a pretty tight group as you will see.

Yes, it will have an add-on price, even though the scenario is huge (much bigger than Kharkov).

Hi Gregor!

As this will be such a huge scenario, will there be sub-scenarios or certain sectors of the Smolensk area?

Best regards,
Noypi

That sort of surgery could be tricky, due to the geography of the area. We haven't tried it, I think most people will appreciate the scenario as is.

Is the new AtD basically the same size as the original?   ... including the assault on Vitebsk, Orsa, down to Mogolev ?

Yes, you get to attack on the same broad front as before.
