I have been playing this on my desktop, but tried to put it on my laptop and it says it there is an error with the seriel code as entered (error code #800). Is this a 64bit application problem, a vista problem, or something else?

I run it under Vista without problem. Maybe you can try to reinstall the game.

re-installed and everything works fine now. I have purchased the game twice, so I have two different SN# for the game. Vista did not like those being mixed between updates and the initial install. Long and short of it is that things work fine in Vista 64-bit.
