I do agree that the series in whole as kind of overdone the whole Temporal thing. I figured they would fix it in the end but they didn't which was suprising. (don't want to give too much away for those who havn't seen it.)

Some news here from the front.  I just got off the phone.  Apparently some magazine wants to interview me.

This is what I keep asking.

It's regarding a write up on a project we did a couple years back. While the write up go no attention here in the States, a magazine in the UK apparently really likes it. *shrug*.

They've always been far more susceptible to evil geniuses there. Here, we seem to fall for the evil idiots.

you shouldn't. It was very well done. I was particularily impressed by the actor portraying young Spock.

He is the villain on HEROES - and he must be a good actor, but having only seen him in that, it gives me the creeps to see him as Spock... nonetheless, i will watch the new ST movie.

Yes....seen him on Heroes but couldn't recall his name (and was too lazy to google it)

If he creeped you out in Heroes you love it when he gives the pissed off cold hard stare as young Spock.

I'm still on the fence about this. It looks to me to be like the last 3 Star Wars movies...all action and no plot.

Is there a plot worth watching, or is it just an excuse for lots of explosions and unbelievable sequenced action shots?

I will not be going to this movie. I do not like them screwing around with the Star Trek Universe timeline.

I like the classic Trek. Wesley should never have been on the bridge in TNG and Data was an ersatz Spock. DS9 was interesting but got lost. After that I enjoyed watching some episodes or reruns but didn't pay enough attention to critique any other than Quantum Trek/Enterprise which really should have given more of the story line to the Captain's pet dog.

I remember RUPD posting many times that he enjoyed Enterprise and I finally gave it a shot. It was by far the most soap opera-ee of the genre, but, I did like the first couple of seasons where they were figuring out how to boldly go where no man has gone before. The show did have some character.

i more or less liekd all the series except Enterprise, which was a disgrace. couldnt even stand up to a fight without falling apart at the seams. and i cant stand bakula.

i thought the dominion war in ds9 was good, but shouldve had 2 more seasons. i dont think the dominion shouldve been beaten in less than 4 years.

i cant wait to see it. though im still not happy about the changing of star trek history.
