Nope... not a faber... you have to have one entire page to yourself for a faber (not 30 in a row, and one post from someone else would ruin it.)

Well, setting your hair on fire and running around would have done it, too, however, it would have been a tad more painful!

When we think about the G4m, we think of a very fragile flying machine that would fall apart if an American fighter pilot sneezed on it. That makes this pic interesting:

Looks like someone sneezed on it and it's about to come apart...

The point is that the Betty in question had one engine shot clean off, and still managed to penetrate to within extremely close range of the Lexington before crashing into the sea.

There's another incident where a Betty crew pressed home a torpedo attack on the USS Denver despite being heavily damaged. When the aircraft had brought its crew home, they counted 380 holes in it. It had to be scrapped, but the crew was alive.

Not the normal state of affairs, of course, but the exception that proves the rule.

Guess it depends on the size of the hole. A shrapnel hole, 20mm hole and 40mm hole are all very different. Seeing as a 5inch shell burst would create a lot of shrapnel and a lot of holes, a burst at a decent distance would create a lot of holes.

Or, the crew just flew around for a bit and made their own holes with screwdrivers instead of getting shot at

They teach all sorts.
Cynicism, from beginner through to advanced level.
Bitterness, from beginner to advanced.
Irony. (That's not a word which describes something metallic )
Black Humour. (Or coloured humour, I can't keep up with the correct terms )
Excuses. (it just came off in my hand chief...)
How to make wire-locking seem tighter than it is.
How to fudge fuel maths.
The best places to hide food on the 'plane.
Foreign for beer.
Know your enemy Pt 1, Officers and Non-Commisioned Aircrew.

I always found that long commutes on public transportation to be an excellent way to meet girls. Just let your natural charm out T, don't hide your light under a bushel!

You must have me confused with somebody else...

Say guys, before I post this in the appropriate thread, I'd like to ask here. What settings should I have for optimum use if I'm running WITP in Vista, windowed mode? My picture isn't always the most stable, nor do I see all of my screen (the bottom 10% or more is generally cut off). Thanks in advance!

What settings do you mean?

You mean screen resolution? Just use your monitor's baseline; with the game in a window, it'll automatically use it, centered in the middle of the screen. Works problem-free here.

Run it under Linux in VMware. Witp thinks it's full screen but it's really windowed. Tada!

pardon my typical heresy...but i have to admit that once streamlined, VISTA hasn't been a problem for me, save for one thing......the Network control panel and certain networking situations due to a change Microsoft made with it's DHCP discovery methods.
