Hey Bobo! In the spirit of Commander Dixon at Coral Sea (when Shoho was sunk) "Scratch one flattop!".
Anybody out there want to guess which one?

that's fing bs how in the hell do your fighters not react when the carrier tf reacts

plus its coral sea heavy damage is as good as sunk since i can't send it to repair facilities.

Well , the computer said Shoho sunk. But I'm guessing your more concerned about Zukiaku ans Shokaku....They may not have sunk, but I'm guessing from the number of bombs that supposedly hit it, that they are NOT happy. I'm curious about Kaga. I'm guessing.., out of commission , but not sinking.

Overall, I'm thinking you tried to go "a port too far".

But as I said before, did you check the weather? How about the altitude of the CAP? And don't forget, if you are chasing me (and all my carriers are faster than yours) did you use all your OP points?

i actually wasn't chasing you i was just trying to protect port moresby. no i had all my cap and everything set correct and plenty of op points. it's just when my carriers reacted all of their fighters that were up didn't react they stayed over where the carriers started the turn which makes no sense. trust me i have gone a port to far but i was being very conservitive with it. i just got screwed by the game engine.

So the CAP was up, but over a speck of empty ocean instead of your carriers? Any chance that when you set the CAP you selected the hex where the carriers were instead of the carriers? I don't know how you'd do it, but the fighters should show a hex number rather than a task force number.

BTW my offer still stands. We can stop, re-start or do a different scenario if you want to.

nope it's cool. i'll double check later. they were set to escort not lrcap which means you can't tell them where to cap anyways.

Damn PayPal. I transferred money from my bank account to my PayPal account last Thursday and it still hasn't shown up. I still have the same amount in my account that I did before that transfer, so I'm hoping my account hasn't been hacked.

Indeed. Sad.

Hopefully this isn't the start of another tragic celebrity three-fer.

I have some names I'd like to nominate to complete the trifecta but will remain silent.

you listen to the ticket don't you?

Since I've lived downtown, I don't drive to work anymore. Probably stopped listening to the ticket 2-3 years ago. Used to love it.

It's like throwing a lamb into a pit of rabid dogs...horrifying...yet oddly fascinating.
