I was just wondering... Since the manual is off to the printing press, is there a way to share an electronic copy through the Matrix website for those of us that own a legal copy of WiTP?

It would be grand to have a chance to study the manual prior to AE coming out.

Regards,

BJ

Erik has said ...in another Thread....that some, but not all of the manual will be made avaiable............maybe as early as next week....or the week after....as part of the build up to release.

I asked my wife, and she prefer a vacuum cleaner (although I think she has no idea what WitP AE is)...

I don't think my wife would read the manual for a vacuum cleaner either...

I once gave my wife new trash bins for all of her gardening clippings.  I think it was a mistake... sort of like splitting the KB into 6 TFs and sending them in different directions.

Next year I'll fill the trash bins with chocolate and flowers.

LOL Next time follow these easy steps when getting a woman a gift.

1. Think of gift idea.
2. Does it have any practical use whatsoever? (in other words can you use it to do something)
3. Yes? Go back to step one.
4. No? You have found a good gift.

So getting the her a cordless drill is a bad idea? ( I was joking with a coworker about doing this for mothers day and she got really mad...her husband had actually done this)

I would be willing to bet that AE has to go GOLD for any release or even partial release of any information to take place.
For AE to be released around June 21st it would probably have to go gold by June 7th. Two (2) weeks after that release...
Of course it could go gold/release early....

I had a friend in college who once got his girlfriend a Salad Shooter for her birthday. Her reaction upon receiving it was priceless.

This last Christmas I was out shopping for my wife with my 3 year old. He REALLY likes to play with vacuum cleaners so I purchased one of the small hand held dustbusters for him as a "gift". Wrapped it up and put it under the tree without my wife knowing. When he was unwrapping it, the look on my wifes face was priceless. She actually thought I had given it to her and he was opening it by mistake. He was going bonkers (best gift ever bonkers) and she had this incredulous look on her face - something like the WE HAVE BEEN MARRIED 15 YEARS AND HE IS GIVING ME A VACUUM CLEANER look. All was well when she realized it was NOT for her, but everyone got a pretty good laugh at her expense on that one. Its probably one of the few "toys" Bryan is still playing with on a regular basis from Christmas!

So is getting your mother an outdoor antenna installed fit into that category of a practical gift? She gets perfect tv reception now, but mothers are probably less traumatized by practical gifts.

That is quite possibly the only thing worse than AE as a wife B-day gift. I suggest a washing machine.

In the case of the part in bold. Just buy a doghouse, at least you'll stay dry when it rains.

I did ask wife this year if she'd want new computer monitor...big mistake. She replied quite acidly:"You are the only one in this family with time available to waste on computer!"

I did have to resort to spa weekends and chinese massage vouchers after that.

The best thing would have been: no gift at all for her birthday.
Then, you would have a lot of time to play in the future.

So, my advise is no gifts...
