I'm having a tough time getting my troops up the cliffs of Pointe Du Hoc...is there a specific path they need to go to get up there? My men get bogged down at the top and don't seem to make it up there, and then they get hacked by the mg's and flak guns.

It is very high and very steep... they will eventually get to the top.

Alrighty, just wanted to make sure it was part of the game, and that they'll eventually make it up there.

Thanks

It's a sheer cliff, not a sand dune..it does take time..but they will make it(well some will)

Just to add

I had quite a success running two teams right around the beach (stay on the sand using way points) to the back of the map and catching the Hun by surprise.

U can try this:

First turn:
Only take the VC on the beaches and do not climb up.

Second turn:
Now there a few spots where the men can be placed on the hill. Now starting with the VC at the beaches attack the Outpost in the Middle West. They do not have to climb any more.

Do not lose the Platoon Leader
