I am having trouble deciding where I want to start. So I decided to let you guys help me decide which one you would like to follow !

I (Commish) will Sim all games
Finances ON
35 man rosters
Injuries ON
Early entry
1st season players will be on original teams
AI will decide all trades, draft, signings (Commish of course has final say)
I will post updates periodically like I have in the past with some items !

Here are the Years I thought of starting at :

1903 - new beginning
1921 - end of the Deadball era
1929 - dawn of new sluggers
1946 - after the War
1954 - Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Banks....

Just post here with your year selection !!

Myron ...

First, are you having Injury turn on? - you would need 40 man roster, otherwise good choice ...

Secondly, since it's going to be simming you may want to start 1903, so as a healthy commish that can never die

, you can enjoy the evolution of the baseball journey from beginning to end ...

by the way, why 1903 ... why not start 1900 and see a new breed being implanted in by AI mixing in with the real players and see some surprising players emerging into superstars ...

Injuries ON. i have done so many of these, ask KG Erwin, I thought a little push would help. I have recently had all my old locker posts removed since PS has started new.
Starting in 1903 because the teams were pretty much established then.
Since I posted this I have have almost decided what i am going to do, but thought it would be fun to see what everybody else thought.

I should be posting by the end of Saturday nite

I vote for 1903. There's something mystical to me about that period. There are so many players that I never heard of, but when I do a little research on them, I find out that they were as famous in their time as some of the big names of our own.

My thought is maybe 1920, with the game picking up after the "Black Sox" scandal, and the advent of Babe Ruth as the dominant player in the majors. To me, 1920-1939 is the first true "Golden Age", with the game having unprecedented popularity and stability.

My second choice would be "Golden Age II" (1946-60).
