Hi all,

Off to another interview tomorrow, just up the road from RAF Cranwell. Not sure I feel safe heading so deep into Crab territory...

Best of luck Simon!

Hi all,

quote:

We're just not important enough, Dixie old boy...

I found out on Friday that PRHN is leaving the hospital by the end of the month. She quit her job, presumably earlier this month, to go to Copenhagen and "try something new", as was all she'd tell me when I asked her, with a little laugh at the end.

A tiger can't change its stripes from vertical to horizontal, and she can't help wearing a suit of armour around me, but it still frustrates me. And it frustrates me that it frustrates me...

I'm not in love with her, but I think it's only natural for me to ask about the why's and wherefore's of such a comparatively major event, considering that I thought we'd been relatively friendly with each other for the past nine months. Guess not...

That's why I was so miserable on Friday evening, among other things...

But, as men always say, there are plenty of other "fish" in the "sea"!

By my experience, that's usually said by women, but no matter...

Next for me will be joining a local gym. It looks like I've lost about as much weight as I can expect to lose by watching what I eat, and will have to take a more active approach for the rest.

Alright....who went and stirred up the steakhouse idiots? I thought we had seen the last of those morons.

OK, I've visited that site, and it appears that they are upset with the same individual that so many of us were furious with (until this weekend). He appears to have been a very busy boy. So for a change , the MCS folk and most of the Threadsters have the same point of view. (That's weird!, But welcome!).

Are they stirred up somewhere around here?

A very good idea, T. It really does take both "smart eating" (I won't call it dieting) as well as some type of exercise to become and stay fit. I'd recommend really shopping around to find a place that you enjoy the environment. If the place is more fun, you will be more likely to go when you don't have the best workout motivation.

Speaking of which, my wife and I have recently started a home video workout program called P90X. The first week is almost over and we're both quite enjoying it. In fact there is a legs, back, and "ab ripper" workout waiting for me in about 30 minutes.

There's two choices in my town. One's about 2 miles away and one's about 100 yards away. Gee, I wonder which one I'll probably choose?

Walk 4 miles (2 to there and 2 back) and get extra benefit from workout?

No not really. They are visiting and reacting normally. But on their own site there were some comments that might suggest that they were "disenchanted" with one particular JFB who ihas been voted "most likely to get green-buttoned!".

I didn't see them so much as "whining" about you so much as declaring what they would like to do about you if they got a hold of you T. I get the serious impression that they don't like you very much. I can't understand that. Your always so charming here.

Yes

I thought so. it lookes like a giant A6, or maybe the A6 is a little Vulcan. but it looks pretty in flight like an angry vulture. why do people not like it?

I think because it was the ugliest (and the last) of the V-bombers. The Victor was truly graceful and beautiful, and the Valiant had classic lines. The Vulcan looked like a big, angry Bat!

Not sure on that, I wouldn't class it as ugly. It also depends on how you are defining last, not according to any reasoning I understand. Because the Victor was the last to fly and the last to leave RAF service
