Well, i am a bit anxious that in a few turn it could get to something like
"HHHHHHHEEEELLLLPPPPPP" or even "WHHHHHHHAAAAAAA" .

Not sure about the idea of making an AAR: it would be very difficult to put my style in english. Don't know either if my esteemed futur opponant will make one, because he is not english neither .

BTW, wouldn't it, perhaps, be more "wise" to wait fe more weeks for WitP-AE?

So don't do an AAR. (I've never been able to get the "screenie" thing to work).Every now and then make a comment here , or somewhere else. Or do a "help me" thread asking for advice. But don't forget , the most important thing is to have fun.

I envy you , I currently have only one very small PBEM going , (and Bobo's modem has been down). No one seems to want to start a PBEM with me.

Greetins Leo! Even if AE comes out soon , it will take weeks , if not months to learn the systwm playing against the AI to learn the differences and idocincrocies of the game and engine. For a Newbie, I think that you are better playing a small PBEM of WITP, while getting a "handle" on AE.

Steve, who said that your offer was to be forgotten? If you like a small scenario, i'll try it.

Wow, i've almost forgotten that screenies are the best way to do a AAR, and i don't even figure how to make one !!!
So it is probably better not to annoy the threadster with an all text AAR;
Sorry guys, you won't have the pleasure and honor to read my perfect and masterful style !!

I didn't mean that to make you feel guilty. I just meant that everyone wants to hold out till AE comes out. As much as I'd love a small scenario, please don't take one on out of guilt or pity, I know that you are very busy in your real life. Maybe you should try your new game for a while, and see how much time you have , before you take on another.

There are several threads that describe ways to do screenies, and many, many talented brothers who can probably help you. I'm such a basket case as to be beyond help, and currently have my hands full just trying to get my new Vista SP2 machine to work semi-properly!

To CAPTURE A SCREENSHOT:

1. Press "Print Screen"

2. Then exit out of what you are looking at (alt-tab)

3. Open graphics program (MS-Paint or whatever you like - i like IRFANview for this due to it's ability to easily crop)

4. Use PASTE function (ctrl-ins or ctrl-v or drop-down menu).

5. Save as a JPG file.

To UPLOAD a file (do NOT use FAST REPLY!):

1. Below the white box for the text of your reply, there is a line that says,
"File | Click here to upload [] Embed picture in post"

2. Select "click here to upload". A pop-up with "selct a file to upload" will appear. Note you might have to make pop-ups enabled to get this

3. Select the "browse" button, and find the file that is your screen shot, the select "ok". You'll get a message about "file being uploaded, this may take several minutes". Once its done, you’ll get a message “File Uploaded Successfully” – click OK. If the file is too big (>200K) or has a wrong file extension, etc. you will get an error message.

4. You will return to your "reply" screen. Check the box that says, "Embed picture in post".

5. Click on "ok", and then post your message as usual.

To CAPTURE A SCREENSHOT:

Robert, what make me laugh is that i just said "don't waste time trying to explain it to me", and you just made an attempt to explain it to me .
Thanks for the trick, i'll try it some days
