The Sultan is dismayed at the actions of Austria and Russia-especially Austria. Their invasion of Poland shows the extent of their humanity. Considering that Austria is allready at war with France, just what are they thinking? Their ally, Prussia, is too busy fighting France to take part in the rape of Poland-too bad for them-suckers.

If Poland was not full of infidels, Turkey would march against this crime.

Russian sent.

ADDIT: Could you guys put in your signature which nation you are playing in this match the way some of us have it listed? I cannot keep you all straight which makes it hard to respond to diplomatic messages and such here in the forum, in PMs, etc.

Austria is back... cannot believe, that Krakow holds ...

The big question of course is:
-will Luxembourg and Flanders hold?

But do go on fighting the Poles!

So, France has to say that it is quite insulting that Preussia and Austria find the minor nations more of a threat than France

The Sultans Seer's say that this was perhaps Austrians only chance to defeat France for a hundred years-maybe more.

To decalsre war and then run away is an invitation to a thousand deaths.

BTW-a 3 hour game turn-around-excellent!

Now that is an understatement if I ever saw one

And I see that Britain sold her soul to please the Swedes...Atleast tell me that the british King got a few blonde Swedish masseuses back from the deal?!
On a side note though, Britian just traded away the part of Denmark-Norway that actually kept the Danish economy afloat at this time period.

How can Russia accept that Austria grew that big so soon?

And finally an actual Q;
does siege casualties count towards staying at war?

Russia had big plans for Poland as well. In fact, as of January, they were still at war with Poland-maybe it was the last little sliver of the country that Austria didn't get. The Czar cannot be happy about this. There are likely trade interruptions and blocking lines of expansion-er, I mean communication with the West.

One thing for sure, no matter what angle you look at the map of Europe from, Austria will stick out like a big, fat, juicy chunk of pork....

There is an interesting power block developing in the north. I can only wonder what the goals are at this time. Peace, oh yea, that's it-peace in our time.

Is that a note of fear now in the French stance, where previously it was 'the only chance in a hundred years the Austrians had to take the French has gone"???

Where will the leviathan turn next?

Leviathan?
Sure she is big, but with her waste levels she is gonna be as threathening as a stranded whale. My men are ready and training for her approach.

I would expect to see Austria trade land for long enforced peace or alliance agreements with her neighbors.

Well, that off course would only benefit one nation...Austria. She will not be overtaken glory wise if everyone is going to pamper her.
Oh well, guess I'll have to do the dirtywork myself then.

The Austrian King is a sly one. It appears that he handed off all "waste" to Russia and got a good treaty in return.

In the 1792 scenario I don't see how this can be opposed other than the French going onto the offensive, which is patently dangerous for them.

It is not even doable tbh. France starts out too weak (I'm not anymore, but I was).

Replied.

Hope Russia and Preussia really thinks that offer through.
And that Turkey and Sweden do the same, who will Russia tangle with if they accept this offer?
