As an inveterate tweaker, I was very interested in the editor. I have been very spoilt by Rich Dionne's Pacwar Editor and love to play with the bits and pieces of that game.

Firstly I'd like to thank the designers for including the editor (although I can't make any sense of the find function - I never can find anything). I would like to know if it is possible to edit weapons stats. I may be missing something, but I couldn't figure out how. I want to play around with the penetration values of the guns which (in my opinion only) are something that could do with a bit of tweaking.

If I am missing the bleeding obvious (my special subject), please let me know.

I was wondering about that, too. Specifically, I wanted to toy with armor and durability to see just how much of an impact they have on play.

Just a few interesting editor bits:

First, it appears that the game can be made much longer than it currently is. Not sure how, and I'm not sure I could modify it to the point where it would be viable, but there it is.

Second, it's incredibly easy to make a Scenario 17 with a Midway option. Just set the "Delay" perameter in the ship data to "9999" for the ones you want to be sunk. It also requires that you remove [I]Hornet[/I] or [I]Enterprise[/I] as opposed to [I]Yorktown[/I], but that's no biggie for me.
