will say I am normally the type (at least vs the AI) that I plot alot of very early morning raids, and then call it a day, but this time, I sent out a ton of recon, and waiting until most of it was done, before starting out think it confused the AI to a bit, it was slow to react, but then it reacted well, and hit me good 4th and 56th were out on sweeps and didn't run into a jackpot 78th did a lot of back and forthing the 353rd got hit HARD at the start, then bounced the 110s sneaking in, Beckham had a real big day, nailing 4 had a late day raid, will good protection, but both sides looked tired and didn't really want to play anymore, losses were light what was the oddity of the day, had sent out my Mustang I and IA's out on sweeps (had a large sweep, hunting the 520's) 168 and 268 caught a few 190s limping home, and nailed them, but as they started to break off, they ran into the 520s the others had missed, and had a royal furball, with the 520's coming out on top ! and then to add fuel to the fire, as the 520s turned for home, headed towards two different bases, the other Mustangs gave up the sweep and headed home, and ran right into a buzzsaw, they did, do better then the IAs, but the 520's more then held there ground, and will be holding a party tonight, after the blackout sirens sound (timing, as always, 10 minute later take off time for the IAs and they come out decent, 15-20 minute later take for the rest, and they would of slaughtered the 520s coming home !!!) lost 10 Stangs for 7 520s (now, neither is going to rate on the top of the charts as dogfighters, the old Stang is still the better plane)
