More sort of grinding along inexorably, rather than shaking, but otherwise fine... Have you made mini-colonel yet?

Naw, almost but the state leadership decided to put a lt. Col into the slot instead of me.  Doesn't really matter actually.  I don't look for promotion.  It eventually finds me.

How's you job coming?

I, to put it modestly, rule that place. If I ever decide to leave, they'll be in about 47 feet of trouble.

Not yet. That's part of the reason I haven't been on lately. Looking for a job. Been working with a headhunter. We'll see how that works out. Until then, I have a job here. I'm getting tired of the army though. I'm particularly tired of giving up my weekends. There's going to be a huge mobilization in Jan 2012 (the one Mogami's going on). I may be sucked into that one. If that happens, I'll go as an LTC. Should that happen, I'll do 3 years as an LTC and definitely retire. Otherwise, I'll probably retire as a MAJ after I get the civilian job. I'm getting tired (not to mention old and creaky).

Now, there's a menage a tanque sepsis for ya.

Boris Yeltsin as bartender. NASA TV doing the naughty movies to scrape together dough for the next moon shot.

And stunt doubles:

for Elvis, Sonia Sotomayor
for Di, Paris Hilton
for MJ, (dare I say it?) Borak "I ain't nuts, but I'm Hussein" Obama.

Well, good for you, T. I logged in here for the first time in a long time today to discover AE will be out this month. I almost couldn't remember what AE stood for.

What's been happening in Threadsville while I was away? I would have thought we'd have been on the next version by now.

Mostly having a group laugh at all the frenzy around the pricing of AE.

Oh, and we're collectively drooling in anticipation.

I hope things are well for you and yours.

Hi Mike

We are preparing for a 1st Birthday in less than a couple of months, so you can guess that we are kept pretty busy by the little fella now he is noisy and far too mobile and inquisitive. Has the recession meant that you have had to sell the Jag or the Posrche?

Ha! Not a chance!

The recession has helped to keep gasoline prices down enough that we can afford to drive them.

Maybe you can catch on with a cannibal tribe. They like majors.

I'm sure you'll suck no matter what. As an LTC, you ought to suck so hard, you'll wind up in the Sea of Holes.

Yes, but they don't REALIZE it, which is the point of the exercise...
